A symposium on Student Power in University Administration appeared in this Journal at pages 331–417 of volume 17, with national reports from Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, Mexico, Costa Rica, England, and the United States. Reports from Yugoslavia and Norway arrived too late for that issue and are presented below. The Yugoslavian report is of special interest not only because it is the only one received from a Communist country, but also because the Yugoslav form of Communism is one which places particular emphasis on separate self-government of the personnel in each unit of society. The Norwegian report is of particular importance because Norway is one of the countries with the longest and most pacific experience with student representation in university administration
