Farmers in regions with eruptive climate conditions are adopting Pre-Monsoon Dry Sowing (PMDS) as an eco-friendly and sustainable farming approach. This paper used primary survey data collected by the Institute for Development Studies Andhra Pradesh to examine the adoption rate, costs, benefits, technical efficiency, and recommendations for scaling up PMDS farming. The study's findings highlight the necessity for targeted interventions and support to overcome obstacles and promote widespread adoption. This farming approach holds great potential for sustainable and resilient agriculture in regions that face climate variability. Farmers can achieve food security by maintaining agricultural sustainability through PMDS farming
