The article points out that Ukraine’s anti-corruption legislation has undergone significant reform. Until 2014, there was virtually no effective system for preventing corruption. The 2014 Law of Ukraine “On Prevention of Corruption” introduced an anti-corruption system that complies with international anti-corruption standards and defines the legal basis for the functioning of anti-corruption bodies, the regulation of conflicts of interest, the legal status of whistleblowers, financial control over the income of civil servants, anti-corruption expertise of regulatory and legal acts, prevention of corruption in the activities of legal entities, and issues of international cooperation. The article provides a comparative analysis of the implementation of international anti-corruption standards in Ukrainian national legislation, as well as the compliance of Ukrainian anti-corruption legislation with European anti-corruption standards
