Greer's book is another of the extremely useful monographs on European economic life published by the Institue of Economics. book is a highly competent quantitative and analytical study of the economic resources of this region, its industrial development, and the bearing of these matters upon the political and international issues arising out of this area. For contemporary European problems the book is unquestionably of much greater immediate significance than all the political histories of the AlsaceLorraine ever written. brief work by Professor Bonn is made up of the intelligent and realistic lectures which he gave before the Williamstown Institute of Politics. It is one of the best discussions which has been brought out on some of the leading issues in contemporary political life which have been created or intensified by the World War.
