Although we are fortunate as teachers of Spanish to be able to choose from among a variety of texts at each level for our classes, most teachers are still constantly on the alert for good supplementary materials to complement the texts. It is useful to have additional exercises to bring into class for at least two reasons: 1) even those texts which include a wide and plentiful selection of exercises do not address the need for supplementary materials that can be used in class, either for review or as a regularly scheduled classroom activity, that students are unlikely to prepare ahead of time; 2) there is still a shortage of creative, entertaining exercises that also enlighten our students
