HE CONCORDANCE has long been used as an aid in the research of important literary works. With the development of computer programs the laborious task of compiling concordances has been made somewhat easier. These programs have saved the researcher endless hours of busy-work and have guaranteed the accuracy of the listing obtained. Computer concordances are now being made and used with increasing frequency. Some of the more recent in the Romance Language area include A Concordance to the Poetry of Gustavo Adolfo Becquer,' A Concordance of Jose Herndndez' Martin Fierro,2 and Concordance to Baudelaire's Petit Poemes en Prose.3
