Updated Progress Report on the Latin American Translation Project

Since my Progress Report on Latin American Translations (Hispania, XLV [1962], 463-67) at least two more complete reports have appeared, one by Dr. Robert J. Clements, associate editor of New York University Press's Gotham Library (Saturday Review, May 22, 1965, pp. 60-61), who based himself in large part on that of the Director of the University of California Press, Mr. August Frug6 (Scholarly Books in America, April 1964). I shall limit myself here, then, to recommending these two reports to our readers, and appending the most recent list of translation projects sent by the editors of the American Association of University Presses
