The following is a selection of recent noteworthy books in Spanish for adolescent and reluctant readers. Titles for serious readers grades 9 through 12 and 9 through adult are included in addition to many titles that may appeal to less eager readers. As indicated in the annotations, these books are easy-to-read with attractive photographs and/or illustrations. The reason for this wide variety of reading levels is to encourage all adolescents into the world of books disregarding individual reading abilities
