In October 1958 Lester Pearson delivered the William L. Clayton Lectures on International Economic Affairs and Foreign Policy at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. These four lectures, and his Nobel Peace Prize Lecture of 1957, were published, under the title Diplomacy in the Nuclear Age, in 1959 by Harvard University Press in the United States and by S. J. Reginald Saunders in Canada. The following review by John F. Kennedy, at that time senator from Massachusetts, appeared in the 1 August 1959 issue of Saturday Review
