  • Lifestyle Profiles and Their Sociodemographic Correlate in an Academic Community Sample

Open Access•Roberta Adorni, Elena Lonati et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

However, which behaviors co-occur most frequently and which sociodemographic variables are associated with specific clusters of unhealthy behavior are still being determined. This study aimed to identify different lifestyle profiles and analyze their associations with sociodemographic factors …

Open Access•Roberta Adorni, Andrea Greco et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality globally. A physically active lifestyle can improve the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) of people with CVD. Nevertheless, adherence to a physically active lifestyle is poor. This study examined the longitudinal (pre-event, 6-, 12-, 24-, and 36-month follow-ups) physical activity profiles in 275 patients (mean age = 57.1 years; SD = 7.87; 84% men) after the first a…

Open Access•Patrizia Steca, Roberta Adorni et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2022

Overall, results show the importance to tailor communication strategies that consider the role of sociodemographic indicators and impulsivity to achieve a high level of adherence
