A Validation and Reliability Study of the Interpersonal Stress Scale-Counselor Scores
We examined dimensionality and temporal stability of the Interpersonal Stress Scale-Counselor (ISS-C) scores in a sample of professional counselors (n = 518). Confirmatory factor analyses provided support for a four-factor model previously identified through exploratory factor analysis and a bifactor model. Using a randomized test-retest, temporal stability was evident among the scores of the ISS-C of the same client condition
Examining the impact of a Diversity Dinner Dialogue led by school counselors on student and faculty multicultural attitudes
Findings from a case study of participants' (N = 27) multicultural (MC) attitudes before and after a Diversity Dinner Dialogue indicated increased but nonstatistically significant differences in MC attitudes and reactions across time (F(1.30, 27.30) = 3.58, p = 0.059). A differential item functioning study of counseling competencies scale-revised scores
Our study examines the differential item functioning of the Counselor Competencies Scale-Revised (CCS-R) scores due to respondents' gender, the type of evaluation, and a combination of these two variables using a large sample (N = 1614). Implications of the findings are offered to inform counselor educators and supervisors using the CCS-R and similar supervisee assessment measures

The Development and Initial Validation of the Interpersonal Stress Scale-Counselor
Using a multiphased and mixed method approach to instrument development, the ISS-C was composed of 16 items extracted into four factors, which demonstrated adequate model fit. The ISS-C scores showed good internal consistency, convergent validity, and temporal stability, while some aspects of discriminant validity remain suboptimal
