Xunzi, Anthropocentrism, and Environmental Ethics
This paper offers a novel interpretation of the classical Confucian philosopher Xunzi's environmental ethics, arguing for a comprehensive anthropocentric reading that nevertheless recognizes ecological awareness as a necessary condition for human flourishing.
