The associations between caregivers’ psychosocial characteristics and caregivers’ depressive symptoms in stroke settings
The study identified subjective burden, quality of care-relationship and expressive social support as significantly associated with caregivers' depressive symptoms. Caregivers' communication skills may also play a role in reducing caregivers' depressive symptoms

Examining the Influence of Social Interactions and Community Resources on Caregivers’ Burden in Stroke Settings
Since the introduction of the integrated care model, understanding how social interactions and community resources can alleviate caregivers' burden is vital to minimizing negative patients' outcomes. Burden of informal care in stroke survivors and its determinants
Informal care burden remains high up to 12-months post-stroke. Factors such as functional dependency, stroke severity, informal caregiver gender and co-caring with foreign domestic workers were associated with informal care burden
Patients with more comorbidities have better detection of chronic conditions, but poorer management and control
Patients with more comorbidities have better diagnosis of chronic conditions, but this does not translate into better management and control of these conditions. Patients with multiple NCDs are high users of health services and are at an increased risk of adverse health outcomes. Hence, improving their access to care is a priority for healthcare systems
