How to prepare the victims and the responsibles for the crimes for a dialogic encounter? How to transform their emotions, perceptions, relations and vital conditions in a judicial process? We believe the answer to these questions comes from what we have called restorative dislocation. We understand as restorative dislocation a process that becomes an emotional, epistemic and temporary movement from the parts involved. These movements have been possible thanks to the mediation of art and symbols, because they are languages with the capacity to name the ineffable, make audible what stuns, and alleviate the weight that accumulates with time. In this article, we will expose what we understand for restorative dislocation in the scenario of transitional justice and some concrete cases in which art and symbols have allowed it
