This article aims to study the ideas of an “industrialist” thought in the New Latin American Cinema (NCL in Spanish) from the analysis of texts and interviews published in specialized film magazines from 1969 to 1980. Within in NCL, the turning of the decades 1960/70 is marked by the quarrel between the “film industry” and the “clandestine cinema”.
