Objective : This study examines in-agency and out-of-agency service provision to a sample of 243 foster children and their families. A Preliminary Examination of Racial Differences in Trauma and Sexual Aggression Among Adolescent Sexual Abusers
The differences in victimization and sexual abuse perpetrated by two groups of youths-African American (n = 110) and Caucasian (n = 57)-were compared in a sample of adolescent males residing in residential institutions. The youths were broken into subgroups by adjudication status and race for the analyses. After assessing for differences between the groups on social desirability and time in treatment, a number of small racial differences emerged …
Revisiting Recent Research on Social Learning Theory as an Etiological Proposition for Sexually Abusive Male Adolescents
This article examines social learning theory as a construct that is applicable to adolescent sexual abusers based upon recent published research. Bandura's (1986) work is used to outline the theory and then research on victimization, aggression, criminality, pornography and personality is reviewed to assess the theory as a reasonable fit for adolescent sexually abusive behavior. Research implications are offered that argue for rigorous research m…

The purpose of this paper is to outline the unique features of AIDS Service Organizations (ASOs) that should be considered when developing an evaluation strategy.
