Cardiovascular Response to Hemorrhage in Dogs after Alcohol
After daily intubation with alcohol for 4 weeks, survival from an otherwise sublethal hemorrhagic stress was decreased in adult dogs. The cardiac abnormalities and the changes in electrolyte balance found, and the role of ethanol in these changes, are discussed
