  • The impact of tACS stimulation timing on the modulation of working memory

Ruiqiao GUO, Wenrui Li et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2026

  • From inertia to action: How humorous signs nudge tourists toward sustainability

Ming Lei, Yatong Li et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Sustainable Tourism•2025

Employing signs is a popular strategy to encourage tourists to protect the environment. This research explores whether and how humorous signs impact tourists’ sustainable behavior. Drawing on status quo bias theory, we suggest that humorous signs capture tourists’ attention, reduce inertia, and consequently promote sustainable behaviors. We propose that humorous signs can not only boost sustainability intention (Studies 2 and 3) but also enhance …

    Open Access•Wenqiang Guo, Ming Lei•ARTICLE•Sustainable Futures•2025•References: 2

The complex interactions among supply chain participants and the dynamic external environment result in the nonlinear behavior and abrupt transitions of supply chain green technology innovation (SCGTI). This study constructs a stochastic dynamic system by integrating Gaussian white noise and stochastic differential equations into an evolutionary game model of SCGTI cooperative behavior. Building upon this framework, the game model is further tran…

This paper provides a critical review of studies using neurophysiological measures in tourism and hospitality. Among 145 articles covering 20 years of research, 16 studies applied either electroencephalography (EEG), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), or skin conductance (SC) measures in tourism and hospitality settings. Results show that, in general, (1) EEG studies investigated the relationships between EEG components and attention/e…

  • Cognitive mechanisms underlying the formation of offline representations in visual working memory

Ziyuan Li, Ming Lei et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2024

  • Albedo of crops as a nature-based climate solution to global warming

Open Access•Cheyenne Lei, Jiquan Chen et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Research Letters•2024

Surface albedo can affect the energy budget and subsequently cause localized warming or cooling of the climate. When we convert a substantial portion of lands to agriculture, land surface properties are consequently altered, including albedo. Through crop selection and management, one can increase crop albedo to obtain higher levels of localized cooling effects to mitigate global warming. Still, there is little understanding about how distinctive…

    Open Access•Ming Lei, Hong Ma•ARTICLE•Trans/Form/Ação•2024•References: 12

University sports culture is an important component of the national cultural system. It is the crystallization of material and spiritual civilization in university sports, as well as the precipitation of sports culture and sports philosophy. However, in the new era, university sports culture presents problems, such as valuing intelligence over physical fitness, lacking in sports culture concepts, and separating spirit and material. In university …
