  • Trustworthiness as Inferential Accountability in Qualitative Research

    Open Access•Abdur Rashid, Rizwana Rasheed•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2026

Trustworthiness is a cornerstone of qualitative research rigor, yet it is frequently operationalized as a procedural checklist rather than as a coherent logic for justifying qualitative knowledge claims. As a result, qualitative studies often demonstrate methodological diligence without fully explicating how empirical materials warrant the interpretations advanced or how the scope of those interpretations should be bounded. The purpose of this pa…

  • Signal and Substance: Why Methodological Sophistication Fails to Guarantee Inference

    Open Access•Abdur Rashid, Rizwana Rasheed•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2026

Despite increasing analytical sophistication, empirical research in organization studies continues to suffer from fragile inference, uneven theoretical accumulation, and contested credibility. This paper seeks to explain why these problems persist by shifting attention from authors’ methodological choices to the evaluative dynamics of peer review. Adopting a conceptual and theory-analytic approach, the paper theorizes peer review as an inferentia…

  • Managing the Standardization–Adaptability Tension in Circular Supply Chains: A Process‐Based Perspective

Open Access•Abdur Rashid, Rizwana Rasheed•ARTICLE•Business Strategy and the…•2026

Circular supply chains are widely promoted as a pathway to sustainability, yet firms adopting similar practices often achieve very different operational outcomes. Prior research mainly explains this variation through differences in technologies or capabilities, overlooking a key operational challenge: the persistent tension between standardization and adaptability. This study examines how firms manage this tension through operational supply chain…

  • The Role of Human Resource Capabilities and Information Sharing in Innovative Supply Chains: Mediating Role of Organizational Learning Capabilities

    Open Access•Abdur Rashid, Aamir Rashid et al.•ARTICLE•Sustainable Development•2026•References: 2

An innovative supply chain integrates new processes, technologies, and collaborative practices to enhance adaptability, efficiency, and value creation. Innovation is essential to a firm's long‐term growth and is a continuous process for any business. This research aims to examine the relationships among organizational capabilities in the innovative supply chain. A deductive, quantitative research method using a survey technique was employed. Data…

  • The illusion of rigor: Why analytical sophistication cannot substitute for inferential coherence

  • Logistics Service Quality and Product Satisfaction in E-Commerce

    Open Access•Abdur Rashid, Rizwana Rasheed•ARTICLE•SAGE Open•2024•References: 74

Consumer satisfaction in e-commerce directly depends on logistical services. There is a constant dilemma in which logistical service dimensions affect consumers' product satisfaction. The aim is to determine how specific dimensions of logistics services affect product satisfaction in the e-commerce industry of Pakistan. For this research, a survey questionnaire with a deductive approach was utilized by collecting data from 197 respondents through…

  • Groundwater Quality, Health Risk Assessment, and Source Distribution of Heavy Metals Contamination around Chromite Mines: Application of GIS, Sustainable Groundwater Management, Geostatistics, PCAMLR,…

Open Access•Abdur Rashid, Muhammad Ayub et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2023

Groundwater contamination by heavy metals (HMs) released by weathering and mineral dissolution of granite, gneisses, ultramafic, and basaltic rock composition causes human health concerns worldwide. This paper evaluated the heavy metals (HMs) concentrations and physicochemical variables of groundwater around enriched chromite mines of Malakand, Pakistan, with particular emphasis on water quality, hydro-geochemistry, spatial distribution, geochemi…

  • Mediation of Inventory Management in the Relationship Between Knowledge and Firm Performance

    Open Access•Abdur Rashid, Rizwana Rasheed•ARTICLE•SAGE Open•2023•Cited by: 1•References: 55

The role of inventory management is pivotal to improving the overall firm performance, but when it comes to the healthcare sector, then it becomes more crucial. This sector often countenances stocks-outs for life-saving drugs and equipment and competent staff that ascent the mortality rate. Thus, the current research aimed to analyze the effect of knowledge on firm performance through inventory management. For this research, a survey questionnair…

  • Geochemical Modeling Source Provenance, Public Health Exposure, and Evaluating Potentially Harmful Elements in Groundwater: Statistical and Human Health Risk Assessment (HHRA)

Open Access•Abdur Rashid, Muhammad Ayub et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Groundwater contamination by potentially harmful elements (PHEs) originating from the weathering of granitic and gneissic rock dissolution poses a public health concern worldwide. This study investigated physicochemical variables and PHEs in the groundwater system and mine water of the Adenzai flood plain region, in Pakistan, emphasizing the fate distribution, source provenance, chemical speciation, and health hazard using the human health risk a…

  • Non-Carcinogenic Health Risk Evaluation of Elevated Fluoride in Groundwater and Its Suitability Assessment for Drinking Purposes Based on Water Quality Index

Open Access•Zahid Ullah, Yifan Xu et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Fluoride (F - ) contamination in drinking groundwater is a significant human health risk in Pakistan. Moreover, high fluoride pollution in drinking water causes a variety of disorders, including dental, neurological, and skeletal fluorosis. The aim of this research was to evaluate the health risk of elevated fluoride in groundwater and its suitability assessment for drinking purposes. The total of ( n = 37) samples were collected from community t…

  • Potential risk and source distribution of groundwater contamination by mercury in district Swabi, Pakistan: Application of multivariate study

Open Access•Seema Anjum Khattak, Abdur Rashid et al.•ARTICLE•Environment Development and…•2021

  • Distribution of ABO and Rh(D) Allelic Polymorphisms North Waziristan Agency, (Federally Administered Tribal Areas), Pakistan

Open Access•Jehanzeb Khan, Abdur Rashid et al.•ARTICLE•The Anthropologist•2016

This population based-study was conducted in the North Waziristan Agency (NWA) along the Pakistan-Afghan border, in order to determine the frequencies of ABO and Rh(D) blood groups. A total of 1026 subjects belonging to four tehsils (Doss Ali, Mir Ali, Miran Shah and Spin Wam) of NWA were recruited and phenotyped. The blood groups ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘AB’ and ‘O’ were found to be 27.4, 36.7, 10.9 and 25.0 percent, respectively. Similarly, Rh (+) and Rh (-)…

  • Genetic Diversity at ABO and Rh (D) Loci in the Tribal Groups of Mohmand Agency (Federally Administered Tribal Areas), Pakistan

Open Access•Atta Ur Rehman, Abdur Rashid et al.•ARTICLE•The Anthropologist•2015

This study was aimed at determining the frequencies of ABO and Rh blood groups in the population of Mohmand Agency, which is a severely war-affected territory in the North-West Pakistan. A total of 1,019 unrelated subjects (963 males, 56 females) consented to participate in this study. Frequencies of blood types ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘AB’ and ‘O’ were observed to be 31.9 percent, 27.9 percent, 11.0 percent and 29.2 percent, respectively, while 87.6 percent s…
