Comparative synthesis of sociocultural and political influences (SPIs) on Covid-19 vaccine hesitancy: An interdisciplinary systematic review
COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy has been shaped by diverse sociocultural and political influences (SPIs), rendering it a multifaceted and context-specific issue. Various studies spanning different academic domains have endeavoured to dissect these diverse SPIs, revealing that the impact of a particular influencer can vary significantly depending on the context and disciplinary interpretation. However, prevailing review literature has predominantly foc…

Improving Government Quality in the Regions of the EU and its System‐Wide Benefits for Cohesion Policy
We quantify the general equilibrium effects on economic growth of improving the quality of institutions at the regional level in the context of the implementation of the European Cohesion Policy for the European Union and the UK. The direct impact of changes in the quality of government is integrated in a general equilibrium model to analyse the system‐wide economic effects resulting from additional endogenous mechanisms and feedback effects. The…
Intrapersonal and interpersonal level factors influencing self-care practices among Hong Kong individuals with Covid-19—A qualitative study

This study aimed to understand intrapersonal and interpersonal level factors that shaped self-care practices among home-quarantined individuals with COVID-19 during the peak o…
Upward pressure on wages and the interregional trade spillover effects under demand‐side shocks
The paper illustrates the effect of a permanent demand-side shock in the perturbed regions and the associated spillover effects in the non-perturbed regions using a spatial-numerical general equilibrium model of the EU economy. We test to what extent gradual upward pressure on wages generated by a domestic increase in demand alters the magnitude of the economic impacts in the long-run and the degree to which this could result in changes in trade …
The provision of higher education in regional areas: An integrative review of the literature

There were four themes identified including: - 1) challenges specific to regional satellite campuses, - 2) student characteristics, - 3) student experiences and - 4) the academics’ experiences. Thes…
