  • Is Current Drug Abuse Prevention Programming Generalizable Across Ethnic Groups

    Open Access•Clyde W Dent, Steve Sussman et al.•ARTICLE•American Behavioral Scientist•1996•Cited by: 2•References: 21

Considerable progress has been made over the past two decades in identifying effective drug abuse prevention strategies. • The Age at Menarche

    Perry Brown, P E Brown•ARTICLE•Journal of Epidemiology and…•1966•References: 2

Serotonin (5-HT) modulates neural responses to socioaffective cues and can bias approach or avoidance behavioral decisions, yet the cellular mechanisms underlying its contribution to the regulation of social experiences remain poorly understood. We hypothesized that GABAergic neurons in the dorsal raphe nucleus (DRN) may participate in socioaffective regulation by controlling serotonergic tone during social interaction. We tested this hypothesis …

  • The Secular Trend in Puberty

Open Access•Pamela K Poppleton, Perry Brown et al.•ARTICLE•British Journal of Educational…•1966•Cited by: 2

Every care was taken to ensure the accurate reporting of this event. When the figures were compared with those obtained earlier from a closely similar group, a discrepancy of six months in the median age was noted. This is explained in terms of an artifact resulting from the method of reporting the event. W…
