    Questions about time are fundamentally connected to development. In addition to the Generative Life Cycle Model (GLCM), this article explores a new way of looking at the concept of life-span development.     The purpose of this article is to propose the Generative Life Cycle Model (GLCM) in two versions. The ecological version of the GLCM focuses on the cyclical images of successive generations beyond an individual's life and death within ecological contexts.
