    In a single-subject design one white male in his late twenties who was a nontraditional student and attending college for the first time recorded the amount of time he spent in each class and outside of class on preparation.     In rural areas where subjects are few the use of any incentive or method to increase participation is of concern. The present study investigated whether reminder notes would increase the appearance of volunteer subjects for psychological experiments.
