Study on the colouring, microstructure, and glaze formula of ‘Ru‐type ware’ excavated from Qingliang Temple kiln in Henan Province, China
Thirty samples of ‘Ru‐type ware’ glazes from Qingliang Temple Kiln were selected. The dominant wavelength, microstructure, and chemical composition of elements in the glaze formula of each glaze sample were measured and studied through integrating‐sphere spectrophotometry, field emission scanning electron microscopy, and energy‐dispersive X‐ray fluorescence analyses. The energy‐dispersive X‐ray fluorescence data were processed by multivariate sta…
A comparative study of typical early celadon shards from Eastern Zhou and Eastern Han dynasty (China)
Characterization of early Chinese northern celadon with lead glaze from Caocun kiln within Yecheng site
Study on the compositional features of Longquan celadon with black body and Southern Song Guan wares from Laohudong using EDXRF
Provenance research by Inaa on ancient Chinese white porcelain excavated from the Maojiawan site of Beijing
The Dating of Ancient Chinese Celadon by Inaa and Pattern Recognition Methods
In 2005, sherds of a special type of ancient Longquan celadon ware were excavated at Maojiawan, in the city of Beijing, China. Although archaeologists agree that these sherds were fired in the period between the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, their specific date is unclear. In order to solve this problem, five other groups of ancient Longquan celadon sherds of known date were selected as reference samples. The elemental body composition of all the sher…
