Fire Histories and Rainforest Aboriginal Archaeology in the Wet Tropics Bioregion, North Queensland
Unlike the dominant Australian savanna‐sclerophyll vegetation, tropical rainforests do not burn easily. Any evidence of fire in Australian rainforests therefore invites explanations of its source.
