The article deals with folk designations (phytonyms) that denote the plant celandine (Chelidonium L.) and its most widespread species, the greater celandine (Celidonium majus L.). The author reviews the designations attested in Udmurt and searches for their parallels in three other Finno-Permic languages, Komi-Permyak, Komi, and Finnish.
