    The Sahariya tribe is the only Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) in the state of Rajasthan, India. Like other traditional tribal groups, they were largely dependent on the forests for all their needs including religious ones. It is, therefore, said that all of their deities stay in the forests.
