  • Research on the Impact of Transportation Networks on the Innovation of Manufacturing Firms Considering Capital Mobility

Zhuangzhuang Peng, Shengnan Wu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Urban Planning and…•2026

This paper employs a data set involving macro-level urban panel data from the Chinese industrial enterprise patent database to investigate the impact of transportation infrastructure on innovation in the manufacturing industry in the Yangtze River Delta. The following are the primary conclusions: First, according to the results of the baseline calculation, manufacturing businesses’ patent output is significantly boosted by improvements in transpo…

  • Cross-modal transfer of statistical learning under unimodal and multimodal learning conditions

Yi Tang, Yajun Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2026

  • Sustainable human health

Open Access•Zhihong Zeng, Chaoran Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2025

In a rapidly aging global society, “sustainable human health” and “active aging” have become significant international concerns. The growing demand for high-quality older adult care, alongside resource disparities, challenges sustainable active aging strategies. As the nation with the largest older adult population, China faces the urgent need to establish a sustainable older adult care system that enhances the health and well-being of older adul…

  • Polycentric Spatial Structure, Agglomeration, and Urban Innovation

Shengnan Wu, Yang Yang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Urban Technology•2025

  • Provincial border effects on capital flows in China

    Open Access•Yang, Yang Yang et al.•ARTICLE•Cities•2025•References: 1

  • Landslide Susceptibility Assessment Considering Spatial Agglomeration and Dispersion Characteristics

Open Access•Kezhen Yao, Saini Yang et al.•ARTICLE•ISPRS International Journal of…•2022

Landslide susceptibility assessment serves as a critical scientific reference for geohazard control, land use, and sustainable development planning. The existing research has not fully considered the potential impact of the spatial agglomeration and dispersion of landslides on assessments. This issue may cause a systematic evaluation bias when the field investigation data are insufficient, which is common due to limited human resources. According…

  • Clean energy powers energy poverty alleviation

Open Access•Xudong Hong, Shengnan Wu et al.•ARTICLE•Technological Forecasting and…•2022

  • An Interdisciplinary Approach to Quantify the Human Disaster Risk Perception and Its Influence on the Population at Risk

Open Access•Shengnan Wu, Yu Lei et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Understanding disaster risk perception is vital for community-based disaster risk reduction (DRR). This study was set to investigate the correlations between disaster risk perception and the population at risk. To address this research question, the current study conducted an interdisciplinary approach: a household survey for measuring variables and constructed an Agent-based model for simulating the population at risk. Therefore, two correlation…

  • Plant biomass allocation and driving factors of grassland revegetation in a Qinghai‐Tibetan Plateau chronosequence

Open Access•Xiaoxia Gao, Shikui Dong et al.•ARTICLE•Land Degradation and Development•2021

Biomass allocation is a key factor in understanding how ecosystems respond to changing environmental conditions. The role of soil chemistry in the above‐ and belowground plant biomass allocation in restoring grassland is still incompletely characterized. Consequently, it has led to two competing hypotheses for biomass allocation: optimal partitioning, where the plants allocate biomass preferentially to optimize resource use; and the isometric hyp…
