  • Tożsamość kapłańska w świetle eklezjologii komunii

    Open Access•Tomasz Kowalski•ARTICLE•Polonia Sacra•2025

  • Application of respiratory muscle training for improved intermittent exercise performance in team sports

Open Access•Tomasz Kowalski, Gabriel Dias Rodrigues et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Sports and Active…•2025

Since traditional, sport-specific training or exercise programs lack sufficient stimulus to improve the function of the respiratory muscle, the rationale for integrating additional respiratory muscle training (RMT) emerged. RMT has the potential to improve intermittent exercise performance in team sports athletes, as proven in multiple studies. This narrative review aims to provide coaches with tools to select the appropriate form of RMT, tailore…

  • Differences between Treadmill and Cycle Ergometer Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing Results in Triathletes and Their Association with Body Composition and Body Mass Index

Open Access•Szymon Price, Szczepan Wiecha et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) is the method of choice to assess aerobic fitness. Previous research was ambiguous as to whether treadmill (TE) and cycle ergometry (CE) results are transferrable or different between testing modalities in triathletes. The aim of this paper was to investigate the differences in HR and VO2 at maximum exertion between TE and CE, at anaerobic threshold (AT) and respiratory compensation point (RCP) and evaluate…

  • Jeśli umiecie – mówcie

    Open Access•Tomasz Kowalski•ARTICLE•Polonistyka Innowacje•2021

  • The Female Figurines in Flaked Flint from the Magdalenian Site of Wilczyce 10 (Sandomierz District, Poland)

Open Access•Tomasz Boroń, Halina Królik et al.•ARTICLE•Palethnologie•2013

Magdalenian artifacts representing human figures (parietal engravings and statuettes) are rare in Poland. While figurines (in hematite) have already been discovered at Dzierżysław 35, the site of Wilczyce has thus far yielded the greatest number of them. These are doubly interesting since most of them are made from flint (50 versus 4 in bone) and were “sculpted” by retouching the flint pieces. Located on the Sandomierz Plateau (southern Poland), …

  • Outcomes in Branching Space-Time and GHZ-Bell Theorems

Tomasz Kowalski, Tomasz Placek•ARTICLE•The British Journal for the…•1999•Cited by: 3•References: 10

The paper intends to provide an algebraic framework in which subluminal causation can be analysed. The framework merges Belnap's 'outcomes in branching time' with his 'branching space-time' (BST). it is shown that an important structure in BST, called 'family of outcomes of an event', is a boolean algebra. We define next non-stochastic common cause and analyse GHZ-Bell theorems. We prove that there is no common cause that accounts for results of …
