Revitalization and revival of indigenous languages and cultures with applied linguistics and technology
The Applied Linguistics field is criticized for neglecting Indigenous languages and cultures as well as social justice issues. Some see technology as exasperating the digital divide. We are urged to reflect on our work to see whose interests the field serves and respond with action. Technology‐Integrated Project‐Based Language Learning
This entry defines project‐based language learning (PBLL) as a student‐centered, comprehensive approach that focuses on the development of language, content, and skills in an integrated and meaningful way. It also focuses on research that utilizes technology in its implementation.
