    This exhibition review analyzes Al Hassan Issah’s debut solo exhibition in terms of the artist’s spatial approach to painting, which transgresses the traditional limits of the medium. One could suggest that the exhibition presents an altermodern criticism of the formalist ethos of modern art that is influenced by academic, mainstream art, and quotidian sources.
