Spontaneous Neural Activity in the Prefrontal Cortex Accounts for Indirect Effects in the Association Between Fine Motor Skills and Mathematical Abilities in 4–5-Year-Old Children
The study investigated the association between fine motor skills and mathematical abilities in 4–5-year-old children, and the potential neural pathways underlying this relationship. Study 1 employed structural equation modeling (SEM) to examine the behavioral link in 362 children, assessing fine motor skills with the Peabody Developmental Motor Scales-2 (PDMS-2) and mathematical abilities across numeracy, calculation, geometry, and reasoning task…
Structural Representations and Identification of Marginal Policy Effects
This article investigates the structural interpretation of the marginal policy effect (MPE) within nonseparable models. We demonstrate that, for a smooth functional of the outcome distribution, the MPE equals its functional derivative evaluated at the outcome‐conditioned weighted average structural derivative. This equivalence is definitional rather than identification‐based. Building on this theoretical result, we propose an alternative identifi…

The detection rate and influencing factors of high-risk groups of cardiovascular disease in Anhui, China: A cross-sectional study of 99,821 residents
Objective To investigate the detection rate and influencing factors of high-risk population of cardiovascular disease in Anhui province. Methods From March 2017 to August 2019, the residents aged 35–75 years old were selected using the multi-stage stratified cluster sampling method in 8 counties and districts of Anhui Province, and questionnaire survey, anthropometric measurement, and collection of biological samples were carried out among them. …
