A machine learning analysis of school-level drivers of organisational innovativeness
This study applied explainable machine learning (ML) to identify school-level conditions that predict organisational innovativeness using OECD TALIS 2018 principal data from 47 education systems. Six machine learning algorithms were compared, and XGBoost achieved the best predictive performance. SHAP (SHapley Additive exPlanations) was then applied to interpret the model and rank the most influential factors. The results show that organisational …
An innovative non-formal learning model based on nature and science
The current education model is gradually shifting away from its traditional framework, evolving towards a more informal, out-of-brick, outdoor learning culture. Artificial intelligence (AI) as a new trajectory in education
This study explores how K–12 teachers from 15 eTwinning countries perceive and integrate AI tools into their classrooms, highlighting both opportunities and challenges. Using a qualitative case-study design with semi-structured interviews, we combined criterion and maximum-variation sampling to capture a range of country contexts. Participants reported that AI streamlines tasks such as lesson planning, assessment, content creation, enhancing proj…
A global perspective on artificial intelligence in educational leadership
This exploratory case study investigates how artificial intelligence (AI) is integrated into school leadership through asynchronous and synchronous interviews with 32 public school administrators from 20 countries. Findings identify six dimensions of AI use in managerial tasks: data analysis, planning, administrative support, content development, communication, and professional development. Additionally, AI assumes six roles in decision‐making an…

Spiritual Leadership and Organizational Citizenship Behavior
There have been many studies on spiritual leadership (SL) and its effects on organizational outcomes, ranging from commitment to organizational citizenship behaviors (OCBs). Precisely, researches regarding SL and OCB were conducted in different regions, cultures, and industries. These topics attracted a growing interest in the second half of the last decade. To clarify the SL–OCB relationship with regard to varied regions and industries, a meta-a…

In line with the increasing interest on servant leadership, the purpose of the st…
A psychometric evaluation of the Ethical Leadership Scale using Rasch analysis and confirmatory factor analysis
The purpose of the study was to psychometrically characterize the Ethical Leadership Scale (ELS) through confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and Rasch analysis. Data were collected from 469 teachers across several countries. The one-factor structure of the ELS was confirmed in CFA. Rating scale diagnosis, item fit assessment, reliability analysis, unidimensionality, local independence, and differential item functioning (DIF) analyses were conducte…
