  • The impact of sports event-brand fit on consumer brand responses

Open Access•Qingfeng Liu, Bing Liu•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Sports and Active…•2025

Introduction: In an era where global sports sponsorship is prevalent, companies aim to gain market share through sports sponsorship. Existing research typically examines this phenomenon by assessing consumer responses; however, different studies have yielded inconsistent or even contradictory findings. Methods: This study employs a meta-analytic approach to synthesize previous research, examining the impact of sports event-brand fit on consumers'…

  • Research on Aesthetics of Cross-Cultural Creative Product Design

Open Access•Jiamin Hu, Nurul' Ayn Binti Ahmad Sayuti et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Posthumanism•2025

Design aesthetics plays an irreplaceable role in improving the aesthetic value dimension of cultural creative products, which mobilizes consumers' emotions and v…

  • Breaking the Iron Rice Bowl

Open Access•Wei Huang, Qingfeng Liu et al.•ARTICLE•The Economic Journal•2025

This study leverages personnel system reforms within economics departments at Chinese universities to assess the impact of the tenure-track system on research productivity. Using individual-level data on faculty members, we show that tenure-track faculty produce 0.135 (or 100%) more publications in high-quality journals annually during their probationary period compared to faculty hired under the traditional personnel system. Our findings suggest…

  • Social Intervention and Cultural Strategy Integration of Cultural Heritage Elements in Glass Product Innovation

Open Access•Qingfeng Liu, Nurul' Ayn Binti Ahmad Sayuti et al.•ARTICLE•Revista de Cercetare si…•2024

With the vigorous development of the cultural and creative industry, glass products, as an important carrier, have received increasing attention in their innovative design. This study aims to explore the social intervention and cultural strategy integration of cultural heritage elements in glass product innovation. Through the analysis of the Hazel Clark cultural space model, it seeks to find a path to effectively integrate cultural heritage elem…

  • Analyzing multi-greenhouse gas mitigation of China using a general equilibrium model

Open Access•Jing Cao, Mun S Ho et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Research Letters•2023

Climate actions have focused on CO2 mitigation and only some studies of China consider non-CO2 greenhouse gases (GHGs), which account for nearly 18% of gross GHG emissions. The economy-wide impact of mitigation covering CO2 and non-CO2 GHGs in China, has not been comprehensively studied and we develop a multi-sector dynamic model to compare the impact of CO2-only mitigation with a multi-GHG mitigation policy that also price non-CO2 GHGs. We find …

  • Model Averaging for Nonlinear Regression Models

Yang Feng, Qingfeng Liu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Business and Economic…•2022

This article considers the problem of model averaging for regression models that can be nonlinear in their parameters and variables. We consider a nonlinear model averaging (NMA) framework and propose a weight-choosing criterion, the nonlinear information criterion (NIC). We show that up to a constant, NIC is an asymptotically unbiased estimator of the risk function under nonlinear settings with some mild assumptions. We also prove the optimality…
