Using creative methodology to explore LGBTQ+ love and relationship experiences across the lifespan
Important lessons can be learned from the intergenerational sharing of lifetime love and relationship stories between multigenerational LGBTQ + people, to inform education, healthcare, and policy. However, such exploratory studies have been limited. The aim of this co-creation study was to explore younger and older peoples’ LGBTQ + love and relationship experiences using creative methodology. In Pursuit of Happiness
Peter Rehberg's novels Play (2002), Fag Love (2005), and Boy Men (2011) map out the fictional relationship history of a gay man from his late twenties to his fortieth birthday. There is no single main character, but the main characters at different points in their biographies follow each other chronologically and conceptually. Reading the books as a set also allows us to trace Rehberg's sustained engagement with US‐American gay culture from the 1…

Ihr habt verbreitet / Die Lehre der Klassiker’
Drawing on Heiner Müller's acceptance speech following the award of the Kleist Prize in 1990, this article explores a history of reception running from Heinrich von Kleist via Bertolt Brecht to Heiner Müller. Despite the rejection of Prussian militarism by both Müller and Brecht – and their scepticism about Prussia's enlightened status – the history and literature of Prussia serve as a foil against which the ideological conflicts of the twentieth…
So stirbt der Eskimaux an seinem Marterpfahl”
Philoktet, Odysseus, Neoptolemos, Ajax
