Factors influencing consumer perceptions of recycled plastic products
Despite their sustainable benefits, the acceptance of recycled plastic products (RPPs) is not widely embraced. Previous research has primarily concentrated on enhancing consumer acceptance of products produced from recycled materials. However, this study narrows its focus to products derived specifically from recycled plastics, examining the determinants that may restrict consumers' purchasing decisions in this context. The Importance of Being a Reservist
In 1894, two-fifths of the men who served in the Royal Naval Reserves (RNR) were drawn from the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, despite the region containing only 0.5% of the total UK population. This was not an atypical spike in recruitment, however, but represents merely one moment in a relationship that lasted for nearly a century. Highlanders and Islanders had served in the RNR since its inception in 1859, and continued to do so in large n…
Service user involvement in the coproduction of a mental health nursing metric
Service users’ involvement in mental health service research is increasingly acknowledged as important, yet, whilst involving users of mental health services as research participants is commonplace, seeking out their experience and indeed their “expertise” to facilitate the development of tools to be used within mental health services is in its infancy. This article describes the involvement and views of service users in the development of a nurs…

Mackenzie's output as a writer and journalist shows that his early experiences of living and working on the land are vital to understanding his approach to the land question, and led him to focus not on abstract or ideal principles but on build…

Incorporating the winescape into the theory of planned behaviour
Translating from Pitch to Plié
A major impediment to greater integration of music and dance scholarship is the lack of common terminology. This paper aims to give music and dance scholars some tools of analysis for exploring how each of these related arts interacts with the other. After presenting analogies between terminology in music theory and movement analysis, the authors demonstrate how these tools can be applied in choreomusical analysis. We discuss two broad categories…
Changes in the geography of suicide in young men
BACKGROUND: Suicide rates changed considerably in men aged <45 years in England and Wales between 1980 and 2005. The impact of these changes on the geographic distribution of suicide is unknown. METHODS: Mapping of geo-coded standardised mortality ratios for suicide in 1113 census tracts (mean population 46 000) in England and Wales, smoothed using Bayesian hierarchical models, for 15-44 year old men during 1981-1985, 1991-1995 and 2001-2005. RES…
