  • Evaluation of a facilitator training program in a randomized controlled trial of psilocybin treatment for depression

Open Access•Nikita Sanati Morel, Dea Siggaard Stenbæk et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Medical Education•2026

  • The Return of the Clan in Sweden

    Open Access•Johan Lundberg•ARTICLE•Societies•2020

This is a conceptual paper which deals with a subject that has been neglected by contemporary Swedish researchers, politicians and journalists: the clan society, which is one of the most common forms of society in the world—from which many of today’s nations seem to have sprung. The thesis of the essay is that the taboo around the clan issue has meant that we have no capacity to understand foreign policy or integration policy

  • Does academic research affect local growth? Empirical evidence based on Swedish data

    Johan Lundberg•ARTICLE•Regional Studies•2015•References: 9

Does academic research affect local growth? Empirical evidence based on Swedish data. Regional Studies. The hypothesis that research activities do not merely affect the growth rate within the municipality hosting the university or university college but spill over to neighbouring municipalities is tested using data covering the Swedish municipalities between 1990 and 2010. Research activities are measured as the number of dissertations and the nu…

  • Functional and Structural Alterations in the Cingulate Motor Area Relate to Decreased Fronto-Striatal Coupling in Major Depressive Disorder with Psychomotor Disturbances

Open Access•Benny Liberg, Paul Klauser et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2014

Psychomotor disturbances are a classic feature of major depressive disorders. These can manifest as lack of facial expressions and decreased speech production, reduced body posture and mobility, and slowed voluntary movement. The neural correlates of psychomotor disturbances in depression are poorly understood but it has been suggested that outputs from the cingulate motor area (CMA) to striatal motor regions, including the putamen, could be invo…

  • Spatial interaction model of spillovers from locally provided public services

    Johan Lundberg•ARTICLE•Regional Studies•2006•Cited by: 7•References: 1

Lundberg J. (2006) Spatial interaction model of spillovers from locally provided public services, Regional Studies 40, 631–644. This paper tests the hypotheses that recreational and cultural services provided at the local government level in Sweden are associated with spillovers between municipalities. A representative voter model is derived and the demand for recreational and cultural services is estimated using spatial SUR techniques. The resul…

  • Using spatial econometrics to analyse local growth in Sweden

    Johan Lundberg•ARTICLE•Regional Studies•2006•Cited by: 4•References: 7

Lundberg J. (2006) Using spatial econometrics to analyse local growth in Sweden, Regional Studies 40, 303–316. The paper investigates factors that determine the average income growth and net migration rates in Swedish municipalities during 1981–99. The main issue is to test the hypothesis that conditional on a set of other possible determinants of regional growth, the growth rate in one municipality is affected by the growth rates in its neighbou…

  • Regional Income Growth and Net Migration in Sweden, 1970‐1995

Thomas Aronsson, Johan Lundberg et al.•ARTICLE•Regional Studies•2001•Cited by: 3•References: 5

This paper concerns the regional growth pattern in Sweden, and the purpose is to analyse what factors determine the growth rate of average income and the net migration at the regional level. We find a negative relationship between the initial level of regional average income and subsequent income growth. The results also imply that the initial endowment of human capital (measured as the percentage of the population with higher education) has a po…
