Putting AI into career coaching
Advancements in technology have introduced chatbots as a promising tool in the coaching context. While predominantly studied in clinical settings, they also show promise in supporting career concerns. However, whether chatbot career coaching can enhance clients' career adaptation process as conceptualized in Career Construction Theory (CCT), remains a fundamental and unanswered question. Grounded in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy principles, a ca…
The German Workplace FoMO Scale
Fear of Missing Out at work (wFoMO) has emerged as a salient phenomenon in today's digitalized workplaces. Reflecting employees' apprehensions about missing critical information vital for one's task or work performance and the fear of missing opportunities to build or strengthen professional relationships and networks, respectively, wFoMO is increasingly recognized as a factor that impairs employee well‐being and functioning. Size does matter
A significant amount of people live in small and medium-sized cities. In the context of smart cities and their further development, these are still often neglected in scientific considerations. We present a maturity model developed by a design science approach on the basis of theory and practice, specifically for the needs of small and medium-sized cities, in order to support them in their development into a fully comprehensive smart city. We der…
Sexuelle Orientierungen …
Incongruities between values, motives, and skills
Psychometric tools are increasingly applied during coaching, but little is known about their effects on clients’ well-being. We investigated the effects that are evoked when psychometric tools reveal incongruities between career-related values, motives, and skills during career coaching within an early-career sample. Results reveal a negative effect of within-person incongruities on life satisfaction and self-efficacy over time. Further, we compa…

This volume deals with the depth and time range of the religious change in the long 1960s. Social agents are examined as well as reasons, in order to evaluate if all kinds of religiousness were affected alike, thereby focusing on the lifestyle of the individual. Which impact had religious concepts/ideals and churchly agenda on various subareas of lifestyle, how did this impact diversify in the course of time and how did it relate to competing sec…

Stipendiate…
