A Higher Order Analysis of the Factor Structure of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
This study examined the higher order factor structure of Form G of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI; K. C. Briggs & I B. Myers, 1987). A third-order component analysis of a sample (N = 926) found 2 higher order components. This higher order analysis contributes to the research literature pertaining to the generalized structure of the personality measure
Using SPSS/PC for Higher Order Factoring
Many researchers do not perform higher order factoring because they do not know the procedures for the analyses or they do not have the factor rotation codes. This article builds on a previously published article in Educational and Psychological Measurement to provide the SPSS/PC code for factor rotations
A Primary- and Second-Order Component Analysis of the Organizational Identification Questionnaire
This study examined the factor structure of the Organizational Identification Question-naire (OIQ), the most widely used instrument today for the assessment of organizational identification. An analysis of a sample of social service employees in the southwestern United States ( N = 369) yielded four first-order and two second-order components. This study contributes to the research literature pertaining to the structure of the OIQ

Cued Forgetting: Short-Term Memory Effect
This study investigated the effectiveness of a “forgetting cue” under different inter-stimulus intervals. Each S had each combination of 3 list conditions (2 trigrams, no cue; 2 trigrams, with cue; 1 trigram) and 3 inter-stimulus intervals (6, 15, and 40 sec.). Recall of the second trigram was measured. Performance with the cue was significantly better at 6 and 15 sec., while at 40 sec., there was no difference between 3 list conditions
