Mohamad Junaid, Muhammad Junaid et al.•ARTICLE•Interactive Learning Environments•2025

This study explores the critical factors influencing E-learning satisfaction in digital education environments in Punjab, Pakistan, a region marked by significant disparities in educational accessibility. Muhammad Asim Shahzad, Jianguo Du et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Environmental Planning…•2025

According to contemporary innovation literature, green performance management (GPM) is critical to improving green innovation results. Yet, few researchers have examined the relationship between green organizational innovation and HRM. This study explores the direct and indirect impacts of green recruiting and selection (GRS), green training and development (GTD), green compensation and benefits (GCB), and green innovation performance (GIP), with…

Mona Bhan, Mohamad Junaid et al.•ARTICLE•English Language Notes•2023

This roundtable discusses the future of research in critical Kashmir studies through a close consideration of questions of power, ethics, and positionality that have come to the fore in recent years

  • Kashmiri Futures

Mohamad Junaid, Deepti Misri et al.•ARTICLE•English Language Notes•2023

This special issue inaugurates a scholarly and creative conversation that seeks to detach the future of Kashmir from the narrative, aesthetic, and political frames of powerful nation-states that have sought to keep Kashmiris confined to a long and seemingly enduring colonial present. It seeks, moreover, to inspire radical imaginations of possible futures in danger of foreclosure by occupying states, and asks us to think about occupation as a temp…

  • Contesting settler colonial logics in Kashmir as pedagogical praxis

    Mohamad Junaid, Hafsa Kanjwal•ARTICLE•Curriculum Inquiry•2022•Cited by: 4•References: 5

In the aftermath of the Indian government’s decision to change the status of Jammu and Kashmir on 5 August 2019, activism for the right to self-determination in Kashmir came under tremendous pressure. An intense crackdown in Kashmir, including a complete communication blackout and internet blockade, meant the only Kashmiri and dissenting voices left were located in diasporic spaces. As two Kashmiri scholar–activists involved in advocacy work on K…

  • From a Distant Shore to the War at Home

    Mohamad Junaid•ARTICLE•South Asian Review•2021•Cited by: 1•References: 1

This essay reflects on how the dominant US framing of the events of 9/11 was appropriated by dominant states to repress struggles for freedom and justice in the name of “global war on terror.” Focusing on India's counterinsurgency war in Kashmir, the essay argues that the India government, led by the rightwing BJP, systematically used the “global war on terror” to advance its anti-Muslim rhetoric, crushing of dissent, and settler-colonial policie…

  • Counter-maps of the ordinary

    Mohamad Junaid•ARTICLE•Identities•2020

This article examines practices of resistance that thwart Indian state’s control over everyday life in Kashmir. The state frequently uses ‘curfew’ to dominate public space, shut down ordinary mobility, and suppress pro-independence politics. Curfews are enforced through punitive prohibitions and by activating the militarised infrastructure built to reinforce Indian rule over the region since 1947. Yet, Kashmiris are not passive objects of this co…

  • Brand love

Mohamad Junaid, Khalid Hussain et al.•ARTICLE•Asia Pacific Journal of Tourism…•2020•Cited by: 4•References: 13

Marketing science has identified brand love as an efficacious construct in the consumer–brand relationship, yet there is scarce research on how to effectuate it in tourism and hospitality sector. What can businesses gain from it beyond profitability? Using 500 tourists’ responses, this study finds that quality value, emotional value, and knowledge value directly augment brand love and that brand love directly enhances well-being, while quality va…

  • The Price of Blood

    Mohamad Junaid•ARTICLE•Comparative Studies of South Asia…•2020•Cited by: 1•References: 31

The discourse of loyalty produces tense predicaments for those living under counterinsurgency regimes. The essay explores this theme by analyzing the case of a Kashmiri woman who found herself in a political drama when she accepted “blood money” from the person accused of causing her husband's death. The woman's decision accompanied moral turmoil in her village, and rumors of her “betrayal” circulated. However, the turmoil threatened to go beyond…

Treatment efficiency was monitored by comparing the results of electrochemical and sonoelectrochemical processes in terms of metals and chemical oxygen demand COD removal. Experiments were performed in ultrasonic bath. In sonoelectrochemical process concent…
