Suomen eugeenisen pakkosterilointipolitiikan alueelliset erot ja toimijoiden vaikutus 1935–1970
Pakkosterilointilain aikana (1935–1970) Suomessa annettiin 4435 pakkosterilointimääräystä, joista 86 prosenttia naisille. Aloitteenteko oli hajautettu: aloitteita saivat tehdä kunnat, laitokset sekä virkalääkärit. Ylin päättävä elin oli Lääkintöhallitus.
