  • Xiaoyaosan ameliorates stress-induced Mash via modulating IL-1R1/RXRα-mediated liver-brain crosstalk

Open Access•Yi Zhang, Xiaoru Luo et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2026

  • Validation of the human–animal interaction scale in Chinese children

Rongxia Hou, Min Liao et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Education Research•2026•References: 12

  • High compliance and reduced online gaming time among Chinese adolescents after the 2021 gaming policy

Open Access•Xinyu Zhou, Min Liao et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Behavioral Addictions•2025

Government policies have been proposed to mitigate excessive online gaming among adolescents, yet empirical evaluations of their effectiveness remain limited. Following China's 2021 online gaming policy, the strictest such regulation to date, we examined the compliance rate and alternative behaviors among heavy adolescent gamers. Several methodological concerns have been raised, including the omission of the 2019 policy, the narrow focus on heavy…

  • Compliance and alternative behaviors of heavy gamers in adolescents to Chinese online gaming restriction policy

Open Access•Xinyu Zhou, Min Liao et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Behavioral Addictions•2024

  • Dissipation Behavior of Three Fungicides during the Industrial Processing of Paeoniae Radix Alba and Associated Processing Factors

Open Access•Shengnan Li, Mingna Sun et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2019

Before being administered as medicinal products, Chinese herbal medicines (CHMs) must be processed and decocted for human consumption. While the presence of pesticide residues in CHMs is a major concern, pesticide dissipation behavior during CHM processing has rarely been reported. In this study, the dissipation of three pesticide residues in the CHM Paeoniae Radix Alba (PRA) was investigated during each step of industrial processing. The boiling…

  • Study of Factors Influencing the Bioaccessibility of Triazolone in Cherry Tomatoes Using a Static SHIME Model

    Open Access•Yuying Liu, Yu-ying Liu et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2018

Estimating the influence of bioaccessibility of pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables on dietary exposure is a challenge for human health risk assessment. This study investigated the bioaccessibility of pesticide residues in cherry tomatoes and contributing factors (digestion time, pH, solid/liquid ratio, and dietary nutrition) using an in vitro test simulating the human gastrointestinal tract. pH had the largest effect on triazolone precip…

  • Migration and Accumulation of Octachlorodipropyl Ether in Soil-Tea Systems in Young and Old Tea Gardens

Open Access•Min Liao, Yanhong Shi et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2017

The migration and accumulation of octachlorodipropyl ether (OCDPE) in soil-tea systems were investigated using a gas chromatography-electron capture detector (GC-ECD) method in young and old tea gardens. When the residual concentration of OCDPE was 100 g a.i. hm -2 in soils, the peak concentrations of OCDPE in fresh leaves of young and old tea plants were 0.365 mg/kg and 0.144 mg/kg, taking 45 days and 55 days, respectively. Equations for the acc…

  • Factors Affecting Transfer of Pyrethroid Residues from Herbal Teas to Infusion and Influence of Physicochemical Properties of Pesticides

    Open Access•Jinjing Xiao, Jin-Jing Xiao et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2017

The transfer of pesticide residues from herbal teas to their infusion is a subject of particular interest. In this study, a multi-residue analytical method for the determination of pyrethroids (fenpropathrin, beta-cypermethrin, lambda-cyhalothrin, and fenvalerate) in honeysuckle, chrysanthemum, wolfberry, and licorice and their infusion samples was validated. The transfer of pyrethroid residues from tea to infusion was investigated at different w…
