El artículo se centra en exponer la creación en Catalunya, durante los años de la Mancomunitat (1915–1925) y bajo la gestión de Eugeni d'Ors y Jordi Rubió, de las bibliotecas denominadas populares que responden al modelo de las ‘free public libraries’ en otros países y son el inicio del sistema de bibliotecas públicas en España

Survey data from a 2011 study on school libraries, comparing the results to the 2005 survey. The satisfaction reported by management teams, teachers, students and library managers is analyzed. Compared to 2005, management teams, teachers and library managers were more satisfied, although the latter provided the most criticism. Most students reported satisfaction at all levels and in all aspects analyzed
