Inequalities in dental service utilization among adults in Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Nepal
DSU was limited across Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Nepal, with the lowest rates observed in Nepal. Substantial socioeconomic and educational inequalities in DSU were evident in Bhutan and Bangladesh. The effectiveness varies across settings due to differing contexts and mechanisms. By applying realist research, this dissertation examines the relationships between the context in which IPCC for vulnerable groups in the Netherlands is applied, the mechanisms by which IPCC (does not) work(s), and …

This rapid realist review aims to explain how and why person-centred care (PCC) in primary care works (or not) among others for people with low health literacy skills and for people with a diverse ethnic and socioeconomic background, and to construct a middle-range programme theory (PT). Peered reviewed- and non-peer-reviewed literature (Jan 2013-Feb 2021) reporting on PCC in primary care was included. Selection and appraisal of documents were ba…

Cognitive behavioural therapy and graded exercise therapy have been promoted as effective treatments for patients with myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome. However, criticism on the scientific rigour of these studies has been raised. This review assessed the methodological quality of studies on the effectiveness of cognitive behavioural therapy and graded exercise therapy. The methodological quality of the 18 included studies was f…
