  • Virtual reality offerings for wellbeing for and by marginalized populations

Open Access•Quinta Seon, Adèle Hotte-Meunier et al.•ARTICLE•Cambridge Prisms Global Mental…•2025

Although virtual reality (VR) programs are being developed by marginalized groups’, a systemic power imbalance still exists. Marginalized groups have a place in digital wellbeing and can lead initiatives to access resources that they desire. To better support these efforts and mobilize knowledge among marginalized stakeholders, we conducted a scoping review of the use of VR for wellbeing. • The rise of the machines and how they impact workers' psychological health

Open Access•Alina N Stamate, Geneviève Sauvé et al.•ARTICLE•Human Behavior and Emerging…•2021

Artificial intelligence (AI) will fundamentally change the global labor market in the near future. While many papers have been published on related topics—such as algorithm development, human–robot communication, laws, and legislation surrounding AI—the psychological impacts of its implementation in workplaces are still largely unknown. • L-carnosine as an enhancer to computerized cognitive behaviour therapy in Japanese workers, an unjustified claim

    Open Access•Geneviève Sauvé, Marie-France Bastien et al.•ARTICLE•BioPsychoSocial Medicine•2018

(2017) in their article entitled “The effect for Japanese workers of a self-help computerized cognitive behaviour therapy program with a supplement soft drink”, recently published in BioPsychoSocial Medicine . The authors concluded that their drink, containing L-carnosine, enhances the effects of a computerized cognitive-behavioural therapy (CCBT) on the psychological well-being of…

  • The Impact of a Cognitive–Behavioral Therapy on Event-Related Potentials in Patients with Tic Disorders or Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors

    Open Access•Simon Morand-Beaulieu, Kieron O’connor et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2016

These results suggest a modification of neural processes following CoPs therapy in TD and BFRB patients. CoPs therapy seems to impact patients' attentional processes and context updating capacities in working memory (i.e., P300 component). Our results are consistent with a possible role of the prefrontal cortex and corpus callosum in mediating interhemispheric interference in TD

  • Feminist Activists On‐line

Open Access•Michèle Dupré Ollivier, Wendy Robbins et al.•ARTICLE•Canadian Review of Sociology/Revue…•2006•References: 2
