  • The relationship among short-form video addiction, self-control, and emotional symptoms in college students: A network analysis

Open Access•Yani Zhang, Qingyuan Yu et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2026

The study reveals a complex interactive structure among short video addiction, self-control, and emotional symptoms. Statistically, "Uncontrollability" within short video addiction and "Self-discipline" within self-control demonstrated high centrality. In practical terms, the findings suggest that enhancing self-discipline may serve as an effective entry point for intervening in addictive short video use behaviors

  • Uncovering the naturally occurring covalent inhibitors of Sars-CoV-2 Mpro from the Chinese medicine sappanwood and deciphering their synergistic anti-Mpro effects

Open Access•Qing Hu, Yiwen Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2025

  • Visualization analysis of the research frontiers, hotspots and development trends of exercise therapy intervention in children and adolescents with sleep-wake disorders

Open Access•Jiachen Zhang, Yani Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Infrastructure Policy…•2024

Objective: Sleep-wake disorders is a common disease in children and adolescents. This study aims to systematically review the development status, research frontiers, research hotspots and development trends of exercise therapy in the through bibliometric methods. Methods: The data comes from the Web of Science Core Coll…

  • Research hotspots and new trends in the impact of resistance training on aging, bibliometric and visual analysis based on CiteSpace and VOSviewer

Open Access•Junmin Mi, Litao Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2023

Purpose Resistance training (RT) can intervene in aging, which can effectively improve trainees’ life. However, unhealthy living habits such as irregular life, obesity and hyperlipidemia, and chronic diseases lead to a significant decline in the energy level of the population, seriously affecting the health of the population. Our research identifies the research hotspots of RT to intervene in aging from the perspective of bibliometrics, predicts …

  • Autistic clinical profiles, age at first concern, and diagnosis among children with autism spectrum disorder

    Open Access•Wen‐Xiong Chen, Wen-Xiong Chen et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2023

Language delay, rather than other symptoms, promoted an earlier diagnostic age. Among male autistic children or children from families with higher socioeconomic levels, language delay was most significantly associated with an earlier age of diagnosis. Cognitive delay, or adaptive delay, was associated with a later age at diagnosis and presented only in autistic children from families with lower socioeconomic levels. There may be sex or socioecono…

  • Adapting the Wepp Hillslope Model and the TLS Technology to Predict Unpaved Road Soil Erosion

Open Access•Yi Wang, Wei He et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Unpaved road erosion have been recognized as important sediment sources in a watershed. To evaluate where and when road erosion occurs, the soil loss along road segments should be precisely predicted with process-based erosion models. Methods: The hillslope version of the Water Erosion Prediction Project (WEPP) was used to estimate soil loss from 20 typical road segments in the red soil region of South China. Terrestrial laser scanning (TLS)-meas…

  • An Analysis of Spoken Discourse between Two Native Speakers

    Open Access•Yani Zhang•ARTICLE•Review of European Studies•2010•References: 1

In this paper, the author first records, transcribes and then analyses a short extract from an English conversation between two native speakers. It aims to reveal that rules and features undoubtedly exist in people’s daily speeches. Though they are quick and evanescent, speeches are more or less organized and structured. For this reason, both language learners and teachers should lay stress on rules and functions of spoken discourse
