Coupled coordination of tourism eco-efficiency and economic development in China: Measurement, spatio-temporal evolution, and spatial spillover
The interactive effect of tourism eco-efficiency (TEE) and high-quality economic development (HQED) is proposed. • Coupling coordination degree model for measuring TEE and HQED coordinated degree (THCD). • THCD leaped from moderate imbalance (0.394) to low coordination (0.547). • Spatio-temporal characteristics of THCD based on Hu's line are remarkable. • The influencing factors of THCD have a significant spatial spillover effect. This study addr…
Platform Training and Learning by Doing and Gig Workers’ Incomes: Empirical Evidence From China’s Food Delivery Riders
This study focuses on the different impacts of platform training and learning by doing on gig workers’ platform income. Based on survey data of China’s delivery riders on the platform in 2020, via quantitative methods combined with the case study, it is found that the platform training is negatively correlated with riders’ incomes, while learning by doing is positively correlated with their incomes. Workers with a high level of platform-income de…
How would you respond to stereotype pressure? The effects of perceived occupational stigma on social workers’ proactive behavior in China
Purpose The purpose of this study is to explore a balanced understanding of the relationship between perceived occupational stigma and social workers’ proactive behaviors in China. Drawing on cognitive appraisal theory, this study explored the mediating role of threat and challenge appraisals, as well as the moderating role of trait resilience. Design/methodology/approach Data were collected using a time-lagged research design. The hypotheses wer…

Our results highlight the potential importance of VAN in the pathophysiology of cognitive problems in MDD, thus offering new directions for future research on MDD
Can the Psychosocial Safety Climate Reduce Ill-Health Presenteeism? Evidence from Chinese Healthcare Staff under a Dual Information Processing Path Lens
Because of heavy workloads, non-transferable responsibilities, and shift systems, healthcare staff are prone to ill-health presenteeism. Based on social information processing theory, this study explored the influence of the psychosocial safety climate (PSC) on ill-health presenteeism. The mediating effects of perceived instrumental support and perceived emotional support and the moderating effect of organic structure in this process were observe…
