Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji transformasi mitos Aul dari tradisi lisan masyarakat Danau Aul ke dalam medium modern, yakni buku Manusia dan Gunung dan film dokumenter Aksatriya, serta mengevaluasi efektivitas keduanya sebagai strategi komunikasi lingkungan.
