Influence of Interpersonal Distance in Serial Learning
This research investigated the influence of interpersonal distance between a male experimenter and his subjects ( n = 120 undergraduates) on acquisition of a serial learning task. The possible interactions of interpersonal distance with difficulty of task and sex were also explored. Relation of Academic Achievement to Scales of Famous Sayings Test
Correlations of the four Famous Sayings test scales with student GPRs indicate that only the Fear of Failure was related to the academic achievement. With academic ability partialled out, the Fear of Failure scale may be of value in predicting academic success, as measured by GPR, in a college setting
