  • Forsythiae Fructus Attenuates DSS-Induced Colitis and Associated Neuroinflammation with Modulation of AMPK/mTOR-Related Autophagy Signaling

Open Access•Yeo Jin Park, Malk Eun Pak et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2026

  • Comprehensive evaluation of Chokyungjongok-tang, a traditional herbal prescription

Open Access•Chang Seob Seo, Sae-rom Yoo et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2026

These findings indicate that CKJOT showed no evidence of genotoxicity in OECD/MFDS guideline-compliant in vitro and in vivo assays under the tested conditions, and that it modulated selected inflammatory mediators in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 macrophages in vitro

  • Isobavachin, a main bioavailable compound in Psoralea corylifolia, alleviates lipopolysaccharide-induced inflammatory responses in macrophages and zebrafish by suppressing the Mapk and NF-κB signaling…

Open Access•You Chul Chung, Su Jeong Song et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2024

Collectively, bioavailable IBC inhibited on the inflammatory responses by LPS via MAPK and NF-κB signaling pathways in vitro and in vivo, suggesting that it may be a potential modulatory agent against inflammatory disorders

  • Network pharmacology-based identification of bioavailable anti-inflammatory agents from Psoralea corylifolia L. in an experimental colitis model

Open Access•Ami Lee, You Chul Chung et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2023

The results indicate that the protective activity of EPC against colitis is a result of the additive effects of each constituent on the expression of inflammatory cytokines. Therefore, it suggests that 11 bioavailable phytochemicals of EPC could aid in the management of intestinal inflammation, and also provides useful insights into the clinical application of PC for the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases

  • The fruits of Gleditsia sinensis Lam. inhibits adipogenesis through modulation of mitotic clonal expansion and STAT3 activation in 3T3-L1 cells

    Open Access•Jihye Lee, Ji-Hye Lee et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2018

  • Inhibitory effects of Dianthi Herba ethanolic extract on inflammatory and nociceptive responses in murine macrophages and mouse models of abdominal writhing and ear edema

Open Access•You-Chang Oh, Yun Hee Jeong et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2018

  • Genetic toxicity of Epimedium koreanum Nakai

    Open Access•Youn-Hwan Hwang, Youn‐Hwan Hwang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2017

  • Acute toxicity and genotoxicity study of fermented traditional herb formula Guibi-tang

    Open Access•Hwayong Park, Youn-Hwan Hwang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2014

  • In vitro and in vivo safety evaluation of Acer tegmentosum

    Open Access•Youn-Hwan Hwang, Youn‐Hwan Hwang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2013

  • Acute oral toxicity and genotoxicity of Dryopteris crassirhizoma

    Open Access•Youn-Hwan Hwang, Youn‐Hwan Hwang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2013

  • Food- and gender-dependent pharmacokinetics of paeoniflorin after oral administration with Samul-tang in rats

    Open Access•Youn-Hwan Hwang, Youn‐Hwan Hwang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2012
